Everyday I see people waiting for that « something »… I observe those people at work, in my family, on the street, on the news, at the gym, etc.

Why are we all waiting for something to happen in a future that does not exist ?

I mean, guys, we are alive only in the present moment! There are no opportunities in future tense since all the doors are open in our present. Everyday we have the chance to change our life, but instead people are waiting… And I am the first one on that list.

I used to be waiting for the right husband, waiting for the right job, waiting for a promotion at work, waiting for the baby to come, waiting for the next vacations, waiting for those opportunities to come, waiting for more money, waiting for my financial freedom, waiting for the debts to be eraised, waiting for the morgage to be paid, just waiting all the time… And then you realize that those things you’re waiting for your whole life never come, or never come « alone ». We need to take massive ACTION today.

Our future is determined by the decisions we take TODAY.

Life goes so fast… So why are we all waiting instead of just taking actions?

In my opinion, we are waiting because we are thinking too much with our mind instead of listening to our intuition. We´d rather be listening to what our heart says, even if sometimes it’s way too crazy. But that’s the only salvation we have : Listen to our intuition, to that little voice inside, feel the fear to live our dreams and do it! And even if at the sight of the Society this is “wrong”!

We are intensely conditionned since we are kids on what is good and what is wrong, but honestly who is defining what is good for you ? We are all different people, with different needs and feelings, so there is not a unique path to follow. You must live your life the way it makes you feel happy as long as you do not break the law or hurt someone.

So many people used to tell me : You have a husband who adores you, he’s faithful to you, a wonderful kid who also loves you and admires you, an excellent job in a Multinational, a really nice appartment, two cars, etc… But what people don’t realize is that I felt so empty with « all that ». It was nice for a time, because that is what I needed in that moment, but not now anymore. It took me more than a year to leave my husband and everything I had built, because I was scared to take the “wrong” decision according to what our society says.

I wasn´t scared of being with someone, I wasn´t scared about compromises; I was scared of living a life I was not « feeling » inside myself.
At my 30th, Society told me that I needed to be married (check), to have kids (half check), to buy my first house (check), to have the dream job (check), but that was not what I was dreaming about. That was not what I wanted.

I wanted to live my dreams : Travel the world, be an entrepreneur, climb mountains, face my fears, learn a new profession and help more people through my work.
So I took my decision and stepped out of my matrimony! And suddenly, I started to breath again.

And a year after, I stepped out of my “dream job” in that multinational company and started my life as an entrepreneur. That was pure oxygen!!
It is so important that we all start feeling more instead of thinking. I know it’s scary at first, but if your dreams don´t scare you enough it means you are in a big problem called: Comfort zone!! And from that comfort zone, you will never evolved towards your true self.

So please start feeling your fears and living your dreams, because remember that life is too short and that the real purpose of our lives is to BE HAPPY NOW, not tomorrow!!
